Hello Friend,
It’s hard to believe that it’s been one year since we started hosting Bitcoin Lightning Developer Bootcamps! In just 12 months, we’ve trained over 200 developers from across Africa, empowering them to build on the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
To mark this incredible milestone, we’ve revamped our bootcamp pages to showcase the amazing journey of our students and the projects they’ve created, and the incredible organizations that have supported us along the way.
Our next stop is Zambia this August applications are now open!

One Year, Six Bootcamps, 200+ Developers 🌍From Nigeria to Ghana, Kenya to South Africa and Cotonou, we’ve hosted six bootcamps, each filled with hands-on learning, collaboration, and real-world projects. Our mission has always been to equip developers with the skills to work on the Bitcoin Lightning Network—and they’ve truly risen to the challenge!
Now, with the pages dedicated to our past bootcamps, you can explore the projects our students have built, meet the bright minds behind them, and dive into what was taught at each event.
Our bootcamps are all about hands-on experience. That’s why we’ve documented the projects that our students worked on—showcasing everything from Lightning Network applications to cutting-edge Bitcoin tools.

You can find their profiles, bios, and the projects they’ve worked on directly on our website!
None of this would have been possible without the support of the incredible organizations that have contributed, both financially and through their efforts, to each bootcamp.
Collaboration has been key to our success, and we’re grateful to the partners who’ve helped us bring these bootcamps to life.
As we look back on the success of the past year, we’re excited to announce that our Zambia Bootcamp is coming up this August! With even more developers eager to learn and build on the Bitcoin Lightning Network, we can’t wait to continue expanding our impact. More details below!👇
