1.ย Jack Dorsey-Backed East African Bitcoin Miner Gridless Raises $2M
Gridless, a Bitcoin mining company that helps generate new sources of energy in rural communities in East Africa, has secured $2 million in a seed investment round led by Bitcoin venture-capital firmย Stillmark and payments company Block, a firm that Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey leads.ย Click hereย to learn more.

1.ย Run With Bitcoin South Africaย Meetups
Paco de La India is in South Africa and is organizing a series of meetups at five locations in South Africa!ย Johannesburg and Pretoria meetups held on the 15th and 18th of December respectively, Durban meetup will be held today by 5 pm, the Cape Town meetup will be held on the 27th of December and the Mossel Bay meetup will be held on the 30th of December. 2.ย Nigerian Bitcoinย Conference
