Job Description
To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate must have experience in B2C software products marketing, developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing team to support our company’s marketing initiatives and help drive business growth in Africa.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, social media platforms, and digital advertising platforms.
- Experience with event planning and execution.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Your Responsibilities
As a market specialist at BumBee, you will be tasked with:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, and events.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience.
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, email creation, and analysis of campaign performance.
- Manage and execute social media campaigns, including content creation, community management, and advertising.
- Assist in the development and execution of event marketing strategies, including event planning, logistics, and promotion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Maintain marketing materials and ensure all content is up-to-date and on-brand.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and recommend new marketing tactics to the team.
