1. Kenya to use shillings for oil purchases amid dollar crisis, fuel shortage

Bitcoin could have been a better proposal for Kenya in light of the US dollar crisis caused by oil cartels hoarding US dollars which has resulted in a fuel shortage. But Kenyan President William Ruto recently unveiled a new proposal that aims for Kenya to purchase oil using its local shilling currency. Read more.

2. Binance and CEO Sued by US CFTC For Alleged Regulatory Violations

Take your Bitcoin off exchanges for reasons such as this latest Binance saga. The US CFTC is suing the largest crypto exchange platform by trading volume for alleged regulatory violations. The lawsuit was filed in a federal court yesterday, and details are limited. There has been no comment made by Binance or its CEO, Changpeng Zhao, and there have been few specific details regarding the wrongdoings of the exchange. 3. Shamory Announces Satoshi Plush that will Support The Built with Bitcoin Foundation

SHAmory, a Bitcoin company that produces educational materials, has announced a new special edition African-themed plush toy named Satoshi. 21% of the proceeds of the gross sales will be donated to the Built With Bitcoin Foundation (BWB), a non-profit organization that provides clean water, access to quality education, sustainable farming and humanitarian support.
