Skills we're looking for:
The Blink Bottom-Up Squad (BUS) is a decentralized, multidisciplinary team scattered around the world. We’re creating content across types, formats and languages for social media, blogs, meetups and more. Do you have passion for Bitcoin adoption and a set of skills that you want to put into practice on the BUS?
If excel at any (or multiple) of the skills listed below, we’d love to hear from you.
Content Creation:
- Social media content: Do you create engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and stories that perform well on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook?
- Written blog post content: Are you able to write content that gets discovered via relevant search terms, and that helps people understand Bitcoin concepts better?
- Visual asset creation: Can you produce compelling visual assets for social, website, SWAG and other purposes?
- Animations: Are you proficient at creating engaging animated content that can be used across the Blink app, social media, video production and more?
- Photography: Can you produce, shoot and edit quality images that tell a story and showcase digital products?
- Videography: Do you capture and stitch together footage that makes people think and take action?
- Documentation: Are you a content creator who’s also competent on the technical side?
Community Engagement:
- Community support: Are you a natural educator and guide who can help people with questions about Bitcoin, Lightning, and Blink?
- Workshop hosting: Do you facilitate meetups, online education sessions, and other events to provide Bitcoin education and engage community online or in real life?
- Developer engagement: Are you somebody who can be found tinkering with APIs, testing out new tech and hopping into hackathons?
Qualifications:
- Proof of work: Show how you applied your skills in the past (and/or create something new to showcase what you can do!)
- Languages: You're fluent in English and ideally one or more other languages (our goal is to make education and information accessible in users' native languages)
- Team player: You are able to work independently and as part of a team
- Bitcoin-only: You're passionate about driving Bitcoin adoption globally
Position Details:
- Type: This is a project-based/part-time role. Arrangement is flexible based on the individual. Students looking for an internship in the space are also welcome.
- Location: The Blink BUS operates fully remote. We do seek engagement from people living within Bitcoin circular economy projects who can share updates from their community!
- Compensation: Get paid in bitcoin! Team members are compensated in bitcoin based on an agreed upon project or set of deliverables.
