1. BTrust Builders has officially kicked off the ‘Build for Africa’ Bitcoin Hackathon

Btrust Builders, an African Bitcoin education program, has launched a virtual hackathon ‘Build for Africa’, targeting African-made solutions around Bitcoin. The event, in partnership with the Africa Bitcoin Conference 2023, aims to generate innovative applications and tools to solve Africa-specific challenges.  Read more.


2. Bitcoinize Machines Set to Revolutionize Access to Bitcoin, Thanks to Community Efforts

In a remarkable achievement fueled by the dedication of supporters, including Bitcoin Beach and donors from the Geyser fund campaign, hundreds of Bitcoinize Machines were dispatched to Bitcoin communities and initiatives all around the world. Read tweet.


3. Bitcoin service provider Azteco secures $6m in Jack Dorsey-led fundraiser

Block Inc. CEO Jack Dorsey has raised $6 million in funding for Azteco, a Santa Monica-based company aiming to accelerate Bitcoin adoption by introducing Bitcoin gift cards. Read more.
