We are trying to educate our population on what is Bitcoin, and most importantly, what it is not. We do physical and online meetups, twitter spacesw and we organize the Dakar Bitcoin Days. We also do presentations at schools and universities.

Xamlé Bitcoin

The Xamlé Bitcoin project was designed to address a crucial need for financial education and awareness in Senegal, particularly regarding Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies. The main goal of this project is to democratize access to these technologies in an accessible way, especially for young people and rural communities, while overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers. Indeed, most educational resources on cryptocurrencies are in foreign languages, creating a digital divide and financial exclusion for many people who do not master these languages.

Bitcoin Dakar is an event in form of a conference held once in a year in the capityal city of Dakar in Senegal. Bitcoin Dakar is cordinated by the Bitcoin Senegal community leaders.
